Priyanka Arul Mohan is an Indian actress known for her work primarliy in Tamil Cinema alongside few Telugu & Kannada films. She is best known for her roles in Saripodha Sanivaaram (2024), Nani’s Gangleader (2019), Doctor (2021), Don (2022) and Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022). The bubbly actor is 30, as of January, 2025.

Early Life

Mohan was born on 20th of November, 1994, in Chennai, Tamilnadu. She is the only daughter of Arul Mohan, a Tamil-speaking businessman and Krishna Mohan, a homemaker of Karnataka-descent thus making the 28-year-old actor (as of 2023) an individual of mixed ethnicity. She did her schooling from Sishya school, Chennai and graduated with an engineering degree from SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai.

Career

She made her acting debut with the Kannada film Ondh Kathe Hella (2019). In the same year, she made her Telugu debut with Nani’s Gang Leader (2019) which was well received by critics. In 2021, she starred in two films: Sreekaram (2021) and Doctor (2021), with the latter becoming a huge critical and commercial success. She achieved further success with Etharkkum Thunindhavan (2022) and Don (2022) and established herself as a leading actress in Tamil Cinema.

In 2024, Priyanka was seen in Dhanush’s Captain Miller and Nani’s action drama Saripodha Sanivaaram. Both these films were well-recieved with the latter turning out to be a commerical success. She will be next seen in They Call Him OG, a gangster drama starring Pawan Kalyan, Emran Hashmi and Arjun Das.
