Sakshi Vaidya is an Indian actress known for her work in Telugu Cinema. She made her acting debut with the Akhil-starrer, Agent (2023), an action drama directed by Surrender Reddy. She went on to star in Praveen Sattaru’s Gandheevadaari Arjuna (2023) opposite Varun Tej.

Early Life

Vaidya was born on June 19, 2000 (24 years old as of January, 2025) in Thane, Maharastra. She is the only child in her family, and not much is known about her background. She studied medicine at Dr. Vithilarao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College in Maharastra, following which she underwent training as a physiotherapist for six months. She follows Hundhuism and is an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha. Sakshi is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer but has no experience in modelling. In fact, she gained popularity with her lip-sync and dance videos on Instagram reels. This brought her offers to work in TV commercials. In 2021, she was featured in Reliance Jewels’ Kaasyam Collection advertisement.

Career

She made her acting debut in the Akhil Akkineni-starrer Agent (2023), directed by Surender Reddy. The movie was released on May 19, 2023, and was panned by the audience and critics. Vaidya’s next venture, Gandheevadaari Arjuna (2023), starring Varun Tej, was released on May 19, 2023.
